Hack-a-ton 25 (Fall Edition) is a 2-day design competition hosted by the ARU STEM Society in collaboration with multiple ARU and professional societies, where students form teams to solve a real-world problem revealed on Day 1. Building on the success of the March 2025 maiden edition, which attracted 40+ participants, industry experts, and lecturers, this year’s event promises even bigger prizes, professional certificates, and enhanced opportunities. Open to all skill levels, the hackathon offers workshops, breakout rooms, and CAD suites, plus a unique “Debate Your Hack” segment to test participants’ ability to defend their ideas. Teams will pitch solutions to a diverse panel of judges, assessed on creativity, functionality, real-world impact, and presentation. Alongside the competition, attendees can enjoy refreshments, networking opportunities, and a vibrant collaborative atmosphere. Tickets are £5 for members, while spectator entry is free with registration.
This event is for 18+ year olds
