Babies Laugh Out Loud is an interactive 30-minute performance for babies (0–18 months) and their caregivers, combining live puppetry, infant-friendly music, peekaboo games and the joyful science of why babies laugh.
It's created by Dr Caspar Addyman (pictured), developmental psychologist, children's author and the world's leading researcher on baby laughter, and directed by Sarah Argent, one of the UK's leading creators of theatre for very young children.
Through eye contact, shared giggles and playful suspense, families experience the science of baby laughter in action. Peekaboo, rhythmic music, animal sounds and gentle interactive play help light up infant brains and create memorable moments of connection.
The show concludes with a joyful mini-disco featuring The Happy Song, the pop song co-created with Grammy Award-winning musician Imogen Heap and developed with infant neuroscience research.
This relaxed, baby-led performance is feed-friendly and designed especially for babies aged 0–18 months and their carers.
We're offering two performances, so you can choose the time that suits you best:
Please book one ticket for each attending adult. During the booking process, you'll be asked to indicate how many babies/infants (aged 0–18 months) will be attending with your group. Babies do not need their own ticket.
