About this event

Step into the fascinating world of microbes — the tiny creatures that live all around us, especially on our hands. In this fun, interactive activity, you’ll:

  • Create your own bacteria using colourful Play-Doh
  • Master the art of handwashing to stop germs in their tracks
  • Peer down a microscope to see real bacteria up close!

Perfect for curious minds of all ages, this activity blends science and creativity to reveal the invisible world that plays a big role in our health.

This activity is presented by Dr Caray A Walker - ARU and the School of Life Sciences, Anglia Ruskin University.

Event presented as part of the Cambridge Festival.
