At Writtle College, we're always looking for dogs to help our Level 2 and Level 3 Dog Grooming students ensure they get the practical experience they need to succeed in the industry.
We provide grooms for a range of breed, size and coat types — right here on campus.
Please be assured that all lessons are taught and supervised by qualified and experienced members of staff.
What’s included in a full groom
- Bath, dry, brush and nail clip for every dog
- Coat finish tailored to your dog:
- Deshedding treatment for double coated breeds.
- Full clipping and styling, tailored to your dog’s coat type and condition.
- Hand stripping available for an additional £10 (on top of listed prices).

Helpful notes
- Prices listed are typical for the breeds shown; final price may vary with coat condition, length between grooms, and styling preferences. Hand stripping is a £10 supplement where requested/appropriate.
- To keep your dog eligible for free maintenance baths, please book full grooms at intervals of 8 weeks or less.
