Join ARU's Sexual Violence Researchers' Group online for a discussion about how PhD supervisors can support the wellbeing of students undertaking research in sensitive or potentially traumatic areas.

In this session, Abbie Lake (PhD student) and Dr Theresa Redmond (supervisor) will hold an open conversation offering their perspectives on the challenges and successes they experienced during the PhD journey.

They will share their practical advice to navigate the various considerations that can arise when undertaking a PhD in sensitive research, based on their experiences.

This is the first in a series of webinars to help promote the importance of considering and taking care of your wellbeing throughout your research.

Through these sessions, we'll explore ways to best prepare for conducting sensitive research from its initial planning stages to dissemination, ways to best support other researchers/your team, and highlight other issues and impacts this research may have on your wellbeing.
