About this event

In celebration of LGBT History Month, ARU extends an invitation to the community to partake in an enlightening online event: "LGBTQA+ Community, Inclusion in the Workplace, and Leadership".

This online panel aims to foster dialogue, promote understanding, and celebrate the rich history and contributions of the LGBTQA+ community.

In line with the Athena SWAN and the Centre for Inclusive Societies and Economies (CISE)principles, this event focuses on the importance of creating an inclusive environment where diverse voices are not only acknowledged but also celebrated.

The panel event will include an interactive Q&A session, providing attendees with an opportunity to further explore the topics discussed and engage directly with our panelists.

Why Attend?

  1. Inclusive Workplace Dynamics: Gain insights into cultivating workplaces that embrace diversity and foster inclusivity, creating environments where all voices are heard and respected.
  2. Leadership Perspectives: Delve into discussions led by distinguished figures, offering unique perspectives on how leadership within the LGBTQA+ community contributes to organizational success.
  3. Historical Narratives: Explore the historical milestones that have shaped the LGBTQA+ movement, reflecting on the triumphs and challenges that have defined the community's journey.

Let us unite in promoting understanding, fostering inclusivity, and celebrating the vibrant tapestry of the LGBTQA+ community.

Embrace Diversity. Empower Inclusion. Inspire Leadership.
