Collaborative Music Practice for Health is a continuing professional development residential course designed for performing musicians and music therapists who want to develop their skills and practice in the application of music to the areas of health, care, community and wellbeing.
The Cambridge Institute for Music Therapy Research, The Cambridge School of Creative Industries, and Britten Pears Arts are offering a professional development opportunity for performing musicians and music therapists who have an interest in working in health and care settings. Collaborative Music Practice for Health will enable participants to extend their skills, practice, and knowledge in the use of music to support health and wellbeing. Focussing on collaborative learning, the course will provide opportunities for musicians and music therapists to work together effectively, gaining a greater understanding of each other’s practice.
The course is delivered as a residential weekend at Snape Maltings Creative Campus, Suffolk.
£550 for the 2024 delivery including accommodation and meals.
