Course founder and students profiled by Hiiibrand

Professor Martin Salisbury and 20 Chinese graduates from our MA Children’s Book Illustration course have been featured in an in-depth article about the course by Chinese creative platform Hiiibrand.

Hiiibrand is an online space where people around the world can exchange their creative ideas and practices, share and promote their work and meet other professionals.

Their aim for the article was to give readers a glimpse of the current state of the Chinese picture book and illustration industry, providing stories and perspectives that would inspire others.

As well as Professor Salisbury, the graduates interviewed include Yang Dong and Daisy Deng Nan.

The article features a full profile of each artist, along with their experience of the course and samples of their work, so we recommend checking it out if you’re interested in studying on the course, or in children’s book illustration in general.
