MA students and staff to exhibit at Cambridge event

This year's Cambridge Original Printmakers Biennale will feature a dedicated space for Cambridge School of Art.

The Biennale, which takes place from 22-28 September 2016 at the Pitt Building on Trumpington Street, Cambridge, aims to promote a knowledge and understanding of printmaking to a wider audience. As such, all events are free to the public, and will include exhibitions, demonstrations, and talks on printmaking.

Among those taking part will be graduating students from our MA Printmaking and MA Fine Art courses, and the Keynote Speakers will include Dr Véronique Chance, Course Leader for both of these MA programmes. Drawing on the RE:PRINT/RE:Present Exhibition and Symposium at Anglia Ruskin University in July 2015, Veronique’s talk will profile the work and ideas of the artists who took part in both events, and the development of the forthcoming RE:PRINT Artist Book. The book will be launched in Spring 2017, and is supported by funding from Anglia Ruskin and the Arts Council of England. You can book a place for this talk on Eventbrite.

Other speakers at the Biennale include Angie Lewin, Emma Mason Prints, Neil Bousfield, Julia McKenzie and Dale Devereux Barker.
