Engage: annual learning and teaching conference

Our Annual Learning and Teaching Conference, Engage, is an opportunity to showcase and explore our learning, teaching and assessment-related activities to further enhance our student learning experience. It's open to all colleagues across the University. Engage 2024 will take place on the Cambridge campus on Wednesday 26 June.

The call for your proposals for Engage 2024 is now open - this year's theme is Celebrate!

Anglia Learning and Teaching’s annual conference Engage returns in 2024 with a redesigned and renewed spirit.

Engage is open to all colleagues across the University, and the call for proposals is now open: if you are involved in learning, teaching and the student experience, and have a story to tell or an activity to facilitate, you can complete the online form to express your interest. The deadline is Friday 29 March 2024.

Engage 2024 has an open call for sessions, that follows our active and inclusive learning focus, and also models critical practice in the sector through a new peer review process.
Sessions can be either 30-minute active workshops, or 5–10-minute short PechaKucha ‘inspirations’.

Engage 2024 promises to be a day of inspiration, connection, and celebration.

Save the date and register on Business World (the course  ID is L&TC) to join us as we come together to celebrate excellence in learning and teaching at ARU.

We will be providing free coach transport from our Chelmsford and Writtle campuses to Cambridge for the event. Please contact [email protected] for further information.

In 2023, Engage took place on the Chelmsford campus on 28 June. Read more about the 2023 event and access resources.
