Kate is Learning Technology Specialist at Anglia Learning & Teaching. Her work focuses on the Canvas LMS, Questionmark OnDemand, the legacy SharePoint VLE, Technology-Enhanced Learning, and staff development.

Background

Kate is Learning Technology Specialist at Anglia Learning & Teaching. She supports academic staff in their use of Learning Technologies, especially our Canvas LMS, Questionmark OnDemand (for online quiz-based assessment) and the legacy Sharepoint VLE.

Kate works closely with faculty-based learning technologists. She attends the monthly Learning Technologist Forums to collaborate on developments on Canvas and associated learning technologies. She also supports faculty Directors of Learning, Teaching and Assessment with the VLE process for the annual teaching review scheme and is currently collaborating with colleagues across ARU as part of the LMS Project workstream on Assessment.

Previously Kate was Computer Services Manager, Epidemiology and Population Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She also worked as Computer Manager at Selwyn College, Cambridge, and as Computing and Telecommunications Manager at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, London.
