The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Framework provides Anglia Ruskin University with a structured, systematic, and student-centred approach to monitoring performance, evaluating impact, and embedding organisational learning across institutional programmes and initiatives. Grounded in Theory of Change (ToC) and Results-Based Management (RBM), the framework supports evidence-based decision-making, accountability, and continuous improvement. It ensures that ARU’s interventions align with strategic priorities, promote equity of opportunity, and contribute to student success and social mobility, while fully complying with the Office for Students (OfS) Standards of Evidence and international evaluation best practice.
