The third meeting of the VERU Journal Club took place on Friday 25 November 2016. During and following Lavanta’s presentation there was lively debate, not only on the strengths and weaknesses of the paper, but also on the Schirmer test and other clinical assessments of tear function, and vitamin D deficiency (including the role of sunlight, and therapeutic and dietary supplements).
