As a Business and Law student at ARU London, you’ll gain a real understanding of how legal considerations impact virtually every aspect of management activity.
It’s an intellectually stimulating degree course that addresses broader aspects of the business organisation and management culture, while also providing an insight into corporate and consumer legislation, corporate regulation and other legal aspects of business enterprise.

Understand business structure and organisational purpose, corporate governance and ethics, and how they affect organisations internally and externally.
Learn models of behaviour of the three economic agents then use these models to analyse the outcomes when the three agents interact in the marketplace. Examine how economists analyse the overall economy and understand economic concepts, accounting principles and mathematics through problem-solving and practical application.
Look at the UK legal system and sources of law and study the law as it applies to business and commercial transactions, including international trade.
Anyone aiming to work in international business should have an understanding of the HR function, so we’ll explore the role HR management plays in the strategic planning and development of domestic and multinational organisations.

A foundation year prepares you for the rest of your course, and focuses on general skills such as researching and referencing, numeracy and ICT, and communication. We'll also start to look at some more subject-specific topics.
We’ll assess your progress through a variety of methods, including coursework, group assignments, activity-based assignments and exams. You can expect to take part in ongoing problem-solving activities, projects and presentations. You’ll also be able to access support material through our virtual learning environment.
All assignments are designed with your career progression in mind and give you opportunities to develop and improve the transferable skills that employers look for.
Facilities
As a student at ARU London you'll have access to:
over 30 lecture theatres ranging in size from those that can accommodate up to 200 students in a theatre-style seating arrangement, to others that are perfect for highly interactive seminars

3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths.

Scholarships
We offer a £1,000 Entry Scholarship to new applicants at ARU London who have achieved:
144 (AAA) UCAS points, if you are from the UK/EU.
A+ grade or a minimum of 80% or GPA 5.0 in your A-Levels or equivalent qualifications, if you are an international student.
This scholarship will be taken off your first year’s fees.
We also have a scholarship for our Top Achievers. For this, we host an annual celebration of students with the greatest results from foundation year, Year 1 and Year 2 of study. These students receive £2,000 off their tuition fees for the following academic year.
