Introduction to Textile Crafts - Award in Creative Craft

How to apply Come to an Open Day

Learn to use found materials to create textile art and craft products, with our Introduction to Textile Crafts (Entry Level 3) course at Writtle College.

Our part-time course offers an introduction to the art of textiles. We’ll explore surface decoration techniques such as print, applique and embroidery; and look at technical files and presenting work.

As a student at Writtle College you’ll be based on our beautiful countryside campus. We’ll use the campus to carry out research and spark inspiration. You’ll plan and create your own craft product while working safely with a range of materials.

We offer both daytime (Mondays 10am-1pm) and evening (Thursdays 6-9pm) courses.
