Anglia Ruskin’s £1m project aims to grow applied gaming sector across the region
The official launch of Anglia Ruskin University’s REACTOR Incubator Space will take place in Cambridge on Friday 26 January.
Co-funded by Anglia Ruskin and the European Regional Development Fund, the Incubator Space will provide small and medium-sized businesses with access to top-of-the-range games software design and development tools on the latest machines.
A total of £1million will be committed to help businesses in all sectors use games technologies to develop and improve their products and services.
Supported by technical and academic expertise to ensure a successful progression from concept to reality, REACTOR’s aim is to support the growth of an applied games sector across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
The launch event, at Anglia Ruskin’s Compass House, is an opportunity for local businesses to explore REACTOR’s new space, play games and learn how gamification can add value to their work.
