Online degree marks start of innovative partnership

Anglia Ruskin University partners with FutureLearn to transform digital learning

FutureLearn, the online social learning platform owned by The Open University, has partnered with Anglia Ruskin as the University continues to deliver on ambitions to become a digital leader in education. 

The first Anglia Ruskin University course on FutureLearn, a MSc in Project Management, launches in May 2019 with subsequent runs in September 2019 and January 2020. The MSc is expected to take learners 2-3 years to complete and consists of eight, 15 credit Programs in: Management Theory; Management Practice; Project Management Systems; Project Management Context; Project Management Techniques; Cost and Financial Management; Project Planning and Control; and Research Design and Methods. This will be supplemented by the completion of a dissertation paper worth 60 credits. 

A second post-graduate programme from Anglia Ruskin University is expected to be announced in due course, as is a further continued professional development course.

Anglia Ruskin University has acquired a strong reputation for being student-focused after inclusion in The Times Higher Education’s 2018 top ten Universities for student engagement. Its partnership with FutureLearn, Europe’s largest online social learning platform, is consistent with the University’s strategy to combine the best of face-to-face and digital learning in all its courses. The University has also made a commitment to increase work-based opportunities, as well as offer activities that enhance academic success and employability.
