Join us for for PIER's annual conference, a free hybrid event that brings together the highest profile national and international speakers dedicated to tackling the global challenge of sexual abuse of children online - one of the greatest criminal threats across the globe.
This year's focus is 'tackling online harms – a whole system approach'. Speakers will include those working at the most influential level in policing, public protection, technology and rehabilitation, who are responsible for tackling the threat and implications of online child sexual abuse for victims, their families and offenders.
Delegates will learn about the work underway to address the threat at every point, from building resilience in children and educating families, to the management and rehabilitation of offenders, and helping survivors recover from the trauma of their abuse.
For the first time, we will host the two-day event both in-person (on ARU's Chelmsford campus) and virtually, opening this free conference to a global audience. There will also be an evening reception on 23 May.
