Learning from, and embedding, victim and survivor responses to child sexual abuse

Join ARU's International Policing and Public Protection Research Institute (IPPPRI) and Victim and Survivor Consultative Panel (VSCP) for this free one-day in-person conference, where we’ll be celebrating the collaborative work undertaken by the VSCP.

The VSCP are experts through lived experience, were integral to the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA), and are active advocates of the IICSA recommendations.

We’ll be sharing best practice around working with people with lived experience of child sexual abuse and offering interactive presentations on trauma-informed organisations; having a meaningful seat at the table; appropriate language when discussing child sexual abuse; and the next steps after the IICSA.
