Woman using Nordic walking poles

Are you searching for a fun, free low-impact workout?

Nordic Walking is an enhanced walking technique that uses poles to work both your upper and lower body. This technique gives you a highly effective, all-over workout using a wide range of muscles.

We’re delighted to welcome a British Nordic Walking representative to ARU in Writtle. Join us from 10-11am on Wednesdays for your free session, and for refreshments afterwards.

Walks take place on the following dates:

  • 10 July, 10-11am
  • 17 July, 10-11am
  • 24 July, 10-11am
  • 7 August, 10-11am
  • 14 August, 10-11am
  • 21 August, 10-11am
  • 28 August, 10-11am

Up to 20 spots are available per session; please email us to reserve your place.

Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent, and comfortable trainers (not boots).
