Are you searching for a fun, low-impact workout?

Nordic Walking is an enhanced walking technique that uses poles to work both your upper and lower body. This technique gives you a highly effective, all-over workout using a wide range of muscles.

We’re delighted to welcome a British Nordic Walking representative to ARU in Writtle. Join our weekly sessions on Wednesdays from 10-11am, with refreshments afterwards.

We're running an introductory session for new participants on Wednesday 18 September 2024.

We'll then be running Nordic Walking sessions throughout the autumn – dates to be confirmed.

Up to 20 spots are available per session; please email us to reserve your place.

Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent, and comfortable trainers (not boots). Poles will be provided.
