Writtle University College and ARU have merged. Writtle’s full range of college, degree, postgraduate and short courses will still be delivered on the Writtle campus. See our guide to finding Writtle information on this site.

Anglia Ruskin Research Centre for Intercultural and Multilingual Studies

Based in ARU's School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Anglia Ruskin Research Centre for Intercultural and Multilingual Studies (ARRCIMS) aims to facilitate international communication.

We do this by exploring the dynamics of culture and identity, language and identity, group mentalities and communication patterns, but also individual and social factors of speaking a second language, within our increasingly globalised world.

Directors: Professor Guido Rings and Dr Bettina Beinhoff.
