Course:
Photography BA (Hons)
23 April 2020
The Photography BA (Hons) course allowed me to find my creative independence whilst working with my peers on projects and exchanging advice.
As of 21 August 2019, I will be the new photography Lecturer at Boston College, Lincolnshire. I can’t wait to get stuck into studying my PGCE and meet my new students. I was worried about finding funding for the qualification, but have been lucky enough to find an establishment willing to fund my learning while working.
The thing I enjoyed the most about life at ARU was the evening access within photography. We had our own little support community across all three year groups, helping each other with projects, giving advice and just enjoying our time together!
In my time at ARU I served as Class Rep in my first and second years. It gave me a great opportunity to meet members of other courses as well as to get a better understanding of how the university works behind the scenes.
My main piece of advice to other students is get involved! ARU is an amazing place to be so enjoy it while you can. I really miss the buzz of Ruskin Gallery, and seeing so many artists of different disciplines working on projects.
Glenn Adams studied on the Photography BA (Hons) course.
