Coach Academy

Our Coach Academy provides opportunities for ARU students to gain valuable skills and experience in real-life settings.

Each apprentice will fulfil the role of an Assistant Coach in one of our sports clubs, an external collaborator, or PE teaching assistant at a local school.

You will need to commit to delivering a weekly training session during term-time throughout semester 1 and 2, and in return you will receive a package of support. Students will be supported financially to gain a National Governing Body coaching qualification, with further support to secure coaching experience with some internal and external collaborators. We also offer a PE Teaching Assistant role at The Stephen Perse Foundation Senior School.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain new qualifications and develop valuable skills, which are sought by future employers.
