ARU Basketball welcomes American guard, Autumn Kalis to their new-look women's basketball roster.
A graduate of Carthage College in the United States, Kalis joins Anglia Ruskin University to study her Masters in Criminology. The sharp-shooter averaged 17.6 points per game, having shot 40.1% from three point range and was ranked 8th in the nation with 3.14 three point shots made per game.
Kalis commented, "I am so excited to be a part of the ARU program and family. I am honoured to have the opportunity to work with such a great group of women. I can't wait to see what the future holds for our team."
Kalis had made a good impression during the team's preparation with her teammates and Head Coach Jacob Lloyd, who said, "I’m delighted with the addition of Autumn. She has settled into the team nicely and I think she can be one of the greatest scoring threats in the league. Most impressively, her obvious talent is complimented by her character and coach-ability which is all you can ask for as a coach."
Our WNBL Division One team begin their 2020-21 campaign this Saturday, 16:00 tip versus City of London Academy Southwark Pride. The game will be available to watch via live stream and will be posted via our social media channels.
