Delivered by: Helen Hope and Jo Lewis – University of Worcester.
In response to the use of AI in their community, Helen and Jo designed a programme of education and training at the University of Worcester. It aimed to change the culture and values of students and staff and develop ways of working that recognise the benefits of artificial intelligence whilst creating a culture that embraces and encourages ethical practice.
The approach utilised an action research model (as a way of inquiry, exploration, and policy implementation) which was underpinned by a commitment to winning the (academic integrity) ‘hearts and minds’ of students who engaged in the process.
Helen and Jo's talk is part of the series AI Collaborations: a positive approach to the use of generative artificial intelligence in higher education.
